Homemade Chocolate Candy Pops
These are so cute! They're easy and fun to make! I love to top them with gluten free candy bits that have the colors of the season. These make great party favors and are perfect for trick-or-treaters :)
Makes 6-7 pops
1 bar (4oz) bittersweet chocolate,
chopped

2-3 tablespoons of your favorite
bite-sized gluten free candy

Pieces* and

Lollipop sticks
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Place the chocolate in a small
heatproof bowl and place over a saucepan with slightly simmering water. Stir often until melted and smooth (4-5
minutes). Remove bowl from saucepan.
Use a tablespoon to scoop circular mounds
of the chocolate mixture onto the parchment paper. Place a lollipop stick in the center of each
chocolate mound and twist. Sprinkle the
bite-sized candy evenly onto the chocolate mounds.
Set aside to harden (it will take about 24 hours to set completely). Or if you can't wait (like me) use the quick method: place the pops in the fridge or freezer until set (1-2 hours) and serve immediately.

*Reese's Pieces are made from gluten free ingredients, but are processed on equipment that could also process products containing gluten. That is according to a phone call I made to Hershey's. Click here for more gluten free candy options.
