[Gluten-Free] Fruit-Infused Water


I'm a drinker. Yup, I admit it. In fact, I drink all day long. Sometimes I just can't get enough. I'm talking about water, of course. Geez, Louise. What, were you thinking?


The only problem about water is it can get a little boring. And when things get boring, watch out! That's when we start reaching for sugary drinks. I'm avoiding all that by adding Fruit-Infused Water to my daily routine. And I have to tell you, I am absolutely loving it!

Here are some of my favorite flavors so far:
       
                *orange + lemon + lime
                *orange + lemon + mint
                *raspberry + mint
                *cucumber + mint
                *lemon
                *strawberry


The "recipe" is pretty simple. Just place slices/sprigs of your favorite flavors into a pitcher or glass. Fill with water. The longer it sits, the more intense the flavor. Then, just keep refilling with water. Drink the infused water within 2 days to keep the flavors fresh. (And I try to use organic produce whenever possible)

Once you find your favorite flavors, it's easy to get hooked! If you come to a party at my house, there is a good chance you'll see a big pitcher of infused water on the drink table. It's not just tasty, it's also very pretty to look at. Sometimes I'll serve a pitcher of it on the dinner table just for Patrick and me. It's a little touch that makes any night seem more special.


I love to make a big batch and sip on it all day. Or if I'm out and about I pour some in my reusable water bottle that I always keep with me. It's a fun way to drink water at work or on the go. So, what are you waiting for? Go get your drink on! You know what I mean...
